When I read this obituary, and I saw that losing Mr. Fowler was a huge loss not only to your family but to a congregation as well. I am deeply sorry about your loss, I know that when you lose a strong male figure in your family it hurts the most, like when I lost my grandfather. I empathize with your family as a granddaughter. It's never easy losing a loved one, but we have a hope from our God, Jehovah who promises us in his word the bible. In John 5: 28, 29 it says “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” Seeing that he was a man of faith, I hope you are able to find some comfort in this promise. To know that a God of love promises to reunite us with our loved ones, really helps me cope whenever I lose someone. I hope you are able to gain the same strength I did. I will miss my friend very dearly, I remember when we first met, I was an intern at Motorola. Mark took me under his wing and showed me how to go about my day to day business and we remained friends from then on....I will truly miss my friend. May God bless his soul and continue to bless his family.

Mark will truly be missed. More than anything will be the phone calls and talking 5 times a day or more and of course his saying "I can show you better than I can tell you" he was a great friend till the last breath.
