It has great creature designs that are gut turning at times and provides your taste buds with enough comedy, emotion and action to entertain. With that unfortunately comes a film with no real sense of pacing, context, or breathable moments for important characters. I'm joking of course but the similarities are here - which is totally fine - if you love alien monster films then you'll enjoy this. It lacks comic relief so most of the film is a bit gloomy. And the pacing feels a bit off. Like I was expecting it to be longer or something. But the action is good and the CGI is very monstery. Tom did it better though. Edge of Tomorrow was awesome.
