Where is The UPS Store located?

The UPS Store is located at206 S Woodward Ave across from the FSU Police Department.

What is a Student U-Box?

A Student U-Box (University Box) is essentially a PO Box (Post Office Box) on campus. With a U-Box, not only can a student receive typical mail, but they can also receive UPS and FedEx mail which otherwise cannot be delivered to a PO Box.

How do I know my Student U-Box number?

The Housing portal lists your U‐Box number (five-digit box number), orlog in to themyFSU portal and look under the "Addresses" section. If you cannot find it in these locations, please contact University Housing directly.

Are there still mailboxes?

The physical mailboxes no longer exist, but your mail will be held in a “virtual mailbox”. A virtual mailbox uses a filing system similar to those used in a health care office.

How will I access my mail and packages?

When you receive mail or packages, they will be logged into our High Density Mail system which will send you an email alert. You then come into The UPS Store and log into a Check-In station to alert us that you are here for pickup. We will retrieve your items, get you to sign for them, and off you go.

What is the best way to guarantee a Saturday shipment to my student?

There is no USPS Saturday delivery on campus or when campus is officially closed. UPS and FedEx do deliver on Saturday. Feel free to call to make sure we are open if it is during a time that school is not in session.

Is Priority Mail a guaranteed 2-day service?

No, Priority Mail estimates 2-3 business days and can sometimes take longer.

Tracking on the USPS website shows that my package has been delivered. Why isn’t it available for pickup?

Packages are scanned as delivered when they are put in the container for delivery to FSU. Sometimes that container is not delivered until the next day. Typically packages are scanned and ready for pickup on the same day that The UPS Store receives them.

If I send perishable items, will they be delivered to the residence hall?

No, all packages for students that are sent by USPS, UPS, and FedEx are delivered to The UPS Store. Please check the FSU Housing website for the address for floral deliveries. The UPS Store will refrigerate items on a space-available basis.

Departmental Billing

How can I pay for an order?

We accept P-Card, Purchase Order, or Foundation funds. If paying by P-Card we will need the P-Card number on file prior to printing. If paying by purchase order we will need the PO prior to printing.

What is the limit for a P-Card transaction?

Use P-card up to $4,000 (highest default limit on the P-Card) and/or up to the spend level on the individual cardholder’s p-card (Recommended first way to purchase). (i.e. Cardholder with a limit of $2,500 can only purchase a job up to that amount). Cardholders must provide their P-Card information to the staff at the on-campus UPS Store at the time the order is submitted. Any amount above that will require a purchase order.

My spend level on my p-card is only $2,500. How do I request a higher limit to pay for my order?

For assistance in raising the card limit to $4,000 as needed, the cardholder must provide approval from their respective Dean, Director, or Department Head by emailing tlprice@fsu.edu, rplevine@fsu.edu, and/or pcard@fsu.edu in Procurement Services. If you have further questions you may call to speak with a P-Card staff member at (850) 644.6850.

What if my order is over $4,000?

Enter an OMNI Requisition and submit printing specifications for review to Procurement Services. Printing requisitions will be reviewed to determine if competitive pricing is required. Anyone with questions regarding printing may contact Procurement Services at (850) 644-6850.

Can I use someone else’s P-Card?

No. Approval from the cardholder for each order must be obtained.

You can use the Noles File Transfer (NiFTy) athttps://nifty.fsu.edu, or a driver can pick up a CD or Flash drive.

What is the turn-around time for print orders?

The standard turn-around times for print orders is 2-3 business days to generate a proof and up to 7 business days to print the order.

Do you deliver and if so is there a charge?

Delivery is available on campus and around town. There is no charge for this service.

How do I get a quote or standard pricing information?

Will I see a proof prior to printing?

Yes, a proof will be sent out for all orders. Please sign and return both the proof approval form and a hard copy of your proof. This will help ensure your job is printed exactly as your proof.

Are there samples of printed material?

Yes, samples of work are available.

If I can’t make it to The UPS Store, can an on-site visit be arranged?

Yes, on-site consultations are available. Please contact the UPS Store to setup an appointment.

Can I ship a package from The UPS Store Print Shop?

How does UPS Online Printing work for FSU?

You can pick up your print job at The UPS Store, or the printing services professionals at The UPS Store can ship it or deliver it to you.

What file type does The UPS Store accept on their computers?

The UPS Store can handle Microsoft® Word, Excel®, PowerPoint® and Publisher files, as well as Adobe PDF files and much more. PDF will provide the best opportunity to meet quality and color expectations for a document.

How do I send my electronic file to The UPS Store to print?

The UPS Store can receive files by email, CD and USB or flash drives.

Are design services offered and if so what are the charges?

Yes, there are professional designers on staff. Design is charged at a rate of $60 per hour with a minimum design charge of $30.
